Final Days Watch: week beginning February 15, 2021

 

NOT EVEN A CLUE WHAT TIME IT IS?

DAMASCUS!

I've just learned Russia pulled its troops out of Syria but Iran hasn't. Is Israel going to take action? I don't know. What I DO know is that Isaiah 17 says that something will happen to Damascus to make it a "ruinous heap" and goes on to describe it as becoming totally uninhabitable. Will it be something similar to what occurred in Beirut (Lebanon) with that big explosion on the docks?

DARKNESS! 

God has been emphasizing this to me in our personal time together through many Scriptures. I think it means many power outages and so much more than just blackouts. Unable to see lights in the sky. Blackout curtains perhaps (like in World War 2). Certainly, Darkness within hearts as people turn to despair and suicide in record numbers.

OPEN DOORS. SHED LIGHT.

OPPORTUNITIES!  

You have the light of Jesus living inside of you. Reach out and share it. Watch out for and help your neighbours and friends and family members. Christian and non-Christian. Let's snatch them out of their personal Darkness into the Light of Jesus which is ours 24/7.

"on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh." Jude :22-23

I came across a newsletter by   Todd Hampson that sums up what I want to say to you this week. I'll give you excerpts and then follow it with several LINKS to websites of ministries I have grown to trust. I urge you (Again and AGAIN) to register directly at these sites and subscribe to their newsletters if they have them. Social media has started a big wave of censorship and purging of anything with Christian (conservative) content. I'm starting to experience it too, even though I am still relatively small potatoes.

Sign up for "Follow by Email" available on my blogs. Plus, I just got the TELEGRAM app and created a brand new Channel and Group there under the name "LauraLeeWasHere" so we can stay in touch AND you can get my latest info from all my blogs and Social media posts in one place and interact with me much easier. (Now if I can just figure out how to use it. 🤷🏻‍♀️)

But it is much more secure than Twit and FB and I don't have to be constantly misspelling things in the hope of getting under their radar. (I'll just misspell for the mere joy of it)

Try not to fear or fret. These things have no place in the life of anyone who belongs to  Jesus. He is "faithful in keeping his promises" to us and we have a huge Book full of them. We live in amazing times and Jesus is coming back for us literally at any time. Let's live each moment as if we have a purpose because we DO have one.

Those of us who have been watching and studying have seen this coming, but to many, it has snuck up on them.

Here we are. Observing the very clear stage-setting for the future tribulation period from a front-row seat. The global puppet masters plan a “Great Reset.” The Ezekiel 38 players dig their heels in. America’s Judeo-Christian roots are being doused with toxic plant killers. Wrong is right and right is wrong. Everything is being twisted by systems of deception.

Let's pivot to something positive. You and I were called to this time. God sovereignly placed us here (read Psalm 139). He loves us. Generations of believers have longed to see what we see. We must rise to the occasion. We literally have nothing to fear (read Psalm 37, Matthew 6, and Romans 8). Even as we watch our beloved country begin its slow implosion, we must remind ourselves that this is not our home. We are citizens of another country.

We can also take comfort in the fact that the most likely candidate that will collapse our beloved country (and with it, the world economy) is the RAPTURE of the CHURCH! Therefore, let’s take the time we would have spent worrying and fretting and use it to share the Gospel like never before! While the great global revival many long for will come AFTER the rapture and during the tribulation period—it will be during the most difficult time earth has ever seen—and that is an understatement. Let’s reach as many as possible today while we have time. Let’s not waste time rearranging the furniture on the Titanic. As we see the spiritual warfare become more intense, let’s focus on rejecting fear and filling up the lifeboats so people will be secure now and for eternity!

Discover Death of the Dearly Departed is Different These Days

 

A few days ago I came across two messages I have kept on my answering machine that were years old. One from my cousin and one from a friend I had since I was a teenager. Both of them have been dead for quite some time.

My mother died in 2013 and I wrote a poem about the night she died. It was the first time I actually saw someone die. I published the poem at the time on my personal blog, Laura-Lee Was Here, but it has recently been having people reading it again. I suppose many people have their minds on death these days.

When I read the poem again I discovered that believing the Rapture is so imminent has altered me on so many levels. Even though I knew my "dearly departed"  lived on in heaven, I had taken on a plodding, enduring attitude. Being just in my 50s it could have been many years before I see(saw) any of them again.

But now my mind turns towards them so much more. I wonder what they look like now. What will be our first words of greeting when we meet again? Will our "mansions" all be together?  What words do they use as they cheer me on? (See Hebrews 12). Do they live in their mansions now? What have they been thinking all this time as they('ve) watch(ed) me run the final part of my race? (I'm having trouble figuring out whether to refer to them in the past, present or future tense.)

I was watching an old, black and white film and the man in it was dying. He had a big, long, melodramatic death scene and he asked the question, "Does anyone have any messages for those in heaven?" and it actually made me chuckle. I'm sure the original viewers would have burst into tears at that point.

Here we are in the middle of a Worldwide Pandemic, surrounded by death, with the entire fabric of society coming apart at the seams and the Believers in Christ are looking like a bunch of drunken goofballs yet again. (See Pentecost in Acts 2-3). We are happy when we should be sad, peaceful when we should be panicked, hopeful when we should be full of despair. We are excitedly watching every cloud formation with expectancy and are continually glancing at the sky, when the rest of the world cannot take their eyes off their "smartphones".  (Not very smart, really.)

We truly are living in unprecedented and troubled times, but these are privileged times too. WE are the generation that will NEVER taste death. The days that millions of Believers throughout the centuries have "longed to look into".  I think of how many others have suffered severely throughout the generations of human history, viewing death as their only relief from pain. They lived and died never having heard the name of Jesus. If I have to suffer a bit before Christ's return, I don't think it's too much to ask me to stick it out, waiting patiently and without murmuring, while I continue to tell others why I'm not fretting and freaked out.

Even the old, dry, boring, repetitive statements of the non-believers that have been hurled at me more times than I can count throughout my forty-three years as a Christian  don't get to me the same  way anymore.

*If God is a God of love why does He allow suffering?

*It's a woman's right to chose.

*If God is real may He strike me down now.

*God made me this way (meaning riddled with sin) so it's wrong for Him not to accept me as I am.

*Just because I was born a man doesn't mean I can't chose to be a woman.

*It's a woman's right to chose.

*God's got no problem with me. I'm a good person. It's not like I've killed anyone. (Oh. High praise indeed! And very low moral standards.)

*I should be free to marry anyone I love. Love is love.

*It's a woman's right to chose.

*I believe in evolution because there is no God.

*There is no God so I believe in evolution.

*There is no God so I'm an atheist.

*I'm an atheist because there is no God.

*If God is real show him to me.

*If God is real show her to me.

*If God is real show it to me.

*It's a woman's right to chose.

*That's your truth, not my truth.

(And the most nonsensical one, which actually makes me giggle these days.)

*You are an intolerant hate-monger that should be eradicated from the earth.

Oh! I can hardly wait to leave!

Even with the hope of Eternity and the security of our faith in Jesus, death has its impact and forever alters us. But the indescribable pain of the days and hours I spent watching Mom die cannot touch me anymore with my departure so close.

And if that is not yet ANOTHER reason to rejoice, which are also coming on faster like labor pains, I don't know what else is.

The Night Mom Passed Away

Hours alone in a room, where my suffering mother lay,

here's what happened ...

He came

His eyes downcast

And all in chain

Not preening and strutting

As I'd been dreading

But a loathsome slave

Fearful and forgetting

Cringing in the presence of his King

For one mere second

Allowed to do his "thing"

Once done, the light erupted

As her life was momentarily disrupted

Then followed by Light and Life much greater!

Could they do less in the presence of their Creator?

In everlasting arms and with his Right Hand,

I saw so clear my Master's Plan:

We all must die to corruption and pain

To know what it is to rise again.

So into that room

Where Death crept

From sorrow and despair

Up She Lept

(and that applied to me and Mom both

joined one more time in that moment of hope)

Amid disease and death and gloom

I knew the joy of the Delivery Room

Not Life to Death, as some suppose

But reborn forever

Up ...  She ...  Rose ~~~

Her journey complete and winter done

Jesus said, "Come with me my Beautiful One.

I've waited long. You're mine at last.

Take my hand. It's time we dance."

Oh, how the Lord does love a feast!

And I'll join in when I'm released

But there's room for more

No need to shove

I now notice that when I wrote about leaving my corrupted body, it's as being "released" not dying. Hmmm? 🤔😄

Yes. There is still room for someone else in God's kingdom. Maybe it's you!

For me, it has been known all these years in the Bible as the  "ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT". It is NOT a conspiracy theory because it is not hidden and it is not merely a theory. It was foretold by God through the Bible (Old and New Testaments) thousands of years ago. It is now unleashed on an unsuspecting, uncaring world pre-occupied with Elections and COVID-19.

See all you want at the massive, information-laden, well-organized website. Hear all the "neato" new terms and catch-phrases like "nationalism", "globalism"  and "new normal". Although, none of this was actually chosen by YOU. But you'll just have to get used to it. Because apparently, this is what you've been waiting for and what will make you happy.

But you will just have to suck it up, because the END is here and even if God doesn't say it, I will. "He told you so."

I am going to bed now to "rest securely" because I knew all this was coming and I know Jesus personally. Can you say the same?

As I fall asleep, available to me is this indescribable, indestructible  "peace that passes understanding". And the Prince of the peace who is waiting to bring it to me  personally. 

Can you say the same?

Do you want to know day after day of peace in the middle of panic and chaos, even when you're facing death?

You can only find it with a relationship with Jesus Christ found in the Bible. I met Him in 1978 when I was finally fed up with this world, my sins and ready to yield my entire life over to Him. I spoke to Him directly, with my own words and I said something like,

"This man said you could help me. I need a lot of help. If you are real, please help me Jesus. I've committed a lot of sins but I don't want to do that any more either. If you want me, even as messed up as I am, I am all yours. Amen."

Not a very elegant, lengthy or holy prayer, but I meant every word. And when I opened my eyes everything was different. Mostly me. That was 43 years ago!

"Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure." (Psalm 16:9)

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7 ESV)

  "For to us a child is born,, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6 ESV)

"And there were shepherds were abiding in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks by night. 

Just then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 

But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid! For behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord! 

And this will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.'

And suddenly there appeared with the angel a great multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying:

'Glory to God in the highest,

and on earth peace to men

Getting Ready for the anti-Christ: the Short Version

  BASIC SIGNS TO IDENTIFY THE ANTI-CHRIST

These are the basic signs that will herald in the rule of the anti-Christ. He will be a world leader who is possessed by satan and is also referred to in the Bible as the Beast.

This is far from a comprehensive study and I urge you to take these signs only as a starting point to study these things for yourself. I have attached only one or two Bible verses to go along with each statement, but there are so many more throughout the Old and New Testaments that I hope this will motivate you to dive into them.

One World Government

Currently known as the "Great Reset". It is a blatant and out in the open agenda of fascism to be immediately and quickly implemented.

 "The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast." (Revelation 13:3)

Cashless Society

We all know what this looks like and on the surface it sounds like a great idea. Nobody will ever be able to take your identity or credit card, but it will mean horrible things when it is demanded of every person and part of worshipping the Beast.

And everyone who gets the mark of the Beast will never enter heaven.

"It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name." (Revelation 13:16-17)

NOTE: Think finger print and facial recognition now used on most mobile devices.

Rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem

There is currently no temple, just one small, old portion (the Wailing Wall) so it will need to be rebuilt. Everything is ready, waiting, and prepared for this. With modern technology, it is estimated the Temple can be built in about one year.

"So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand." (Matthew 24:15)

 "He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God."                             (2 Thessalonians 2:7)

People don't care about the truth

"Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth." (Revelation 13:14)

People just don't care about God nor each other.

Total anarchy and Lawlessness

Pretty self-explanatory. Just look outside your window.

"Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, " (Matthew 24:13 )

"For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way." (2 Thessalonians 2:7)

Rapture of Christian Believers

This is one of the most disputed parts of End Times Bible Prophecy. Is the Rapture a separate event taking place at the beginning of the Great Tribulation or the same event as the "Second Coming" of Jesus at the end of it. Because it is such a divisive and hot topic among Christians, I will devote more time for it later to discuss in more detail. Here I just give the three main reasons why I believe it is a separate and imminent event that will happen at any moment.

"In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. (Daniel 9:27)

The "seven" referred to here (and other places in both the Old and New Testaments) is a seven-year peace treaty between the Beast and Israel. It is according to the Jewish calendar of 360 days per year. EXACTLY seven years after this treaty is signed Christ (the real one) returns.

"But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only." (Matthew 24:36)

This is the main reason I believe the Rapture is separate. If the Bible tells us the EXACT day of Christ's return, then we would know the day. But it says here we don't know the day or hour, so this is a separate event.

"After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."

 (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

We are told here we go to meet the Lord in the air, yet in the Second Coming described at the end of Revelation and Jeremiah (and many other places) it says Jesus will touch down on the Mount of Olives.

"And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, ..."       (Zechariah 14:4)

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way." (2 Thessalonians 2:7)

I mention the Rapture as a sign of the anti-Christ because the Restrainer must be removed before satan can be revealed to the world. From a myriad of verses in the Bible, Christians who comprise the Body of Christ on the earth are referred to as the current restraining force of Jesus on the earth. 

We get "caught up" in the "twinkling of an eye" and only then can the anti-Christ show his ugly, evil mug. As long as we are still here, he is in hiding.

There are many, many more verses in the Bible about this leader, but what you really want to know is "who is he?".

I don't have the foggiest notion. Nor am I going to waste my time to figure it out. I will be Raptured before then so I don't need to know. I'll be watching all of the Tribulation safe and sound with Jesus. That's why the Bible tells us to 

"Comfort each other with these words." (1Thessalonians 4:18)

However, if you don't know Jesus personally and haven't made Him the Lord of your life, you are in heaps of trouble. You WILL need to be able to identify him so you can refuse him and his mark. The moment you get his mark you will never see heaven and be cut off from God's goodness forever.

I STRONGLY suggest you talk to Jesus and get that worked out between the two of you because there is very little time left.

Final Days Watch: Week Beginning February 1, 2021

 

Once again I'm not going to ask you to watch out for something that is a specific prophetic event but something more foundational.

It has come to my increasing attention and my great distress just how, dare I say it, lazy and unconcerned people are when it comes to discovering the truth. They seem content to believe what they hear on the news, what they see in social media and follow what everyone else believes. Even when they discover these things are bogus, erroneous, and out and out lies, they shake it off with an "oh well, everyone lies" mentality, then go straight back to the same places and people for their information.

What is fascinating and ironic is this is exactly what the Bible says would happen as yet another sign that we are in the Final Days. The Bible says that people will not wish to hear any sound doctrine or thinking and their interest in anything to do with Bible Prophecy (which makes up one third of the Bible) will "fall away".

 If the visitors to my blogs is any indication, that is definitely happening. I was getting hundreds of people viewing each post, but the moment I declared that I believe we had arrived in the Last Days of the earth that amount dropped to a couple dozen.

For myself, I couldn't care less about the numbers, but I do worry that so many people are simply not willing to even explore the topic. We are living in unprecedented times. People's livelihood, families, lives and eternal souls are on the line, but people are responding with a "ho-hum" or "don't bother me" attitude. 

I want to urge and plead with you once again. The truth may be much more difficult to find and buried beneath layers of lies but you NEED to KNOW it.

Jesus (who is everywhere, knows everything and is all-powerful, and all-loving) is ready to have a one-on-one talk with you, if only you will take the time to listen. How many of you are doing that? What is it you have going on that is more important? How much time each day have you set aside just to be quiet and spend time alone with Jesus and reading the Bible? It is still the main way He communicates with us.

Dig, search, and hunt for the facts. 

Explore the possibilities.  Throw away assumptions and use your power of reason. And especially question and examine EVERYTHING people tell you. Including me! Otherwise you will be duped and deceived and have to endure intense suffering and pay horrible consequences that are beyond your imagination. And mine.

I have never heard Jesus talk to me so plainly and loudly as He has in these last two years. He has opened up to me an understanding of the Bible above and beyond anything I have ever experienced before in my previous forty years of studying it.

COVID-19 is merely a walk in the park compared to what is to come. He said it was coming literally thousands of years ago. All of it recorded in the Bible just waiting for you to read and Him to reveal to you. The truth, which I vowed before God to give to you, is readily available. Just get a Bible (dozens of FREE apps available) and start to read. You cannot afford to ignore it. 

But as I pray in my frustration, amazement and sorrow, watching so many, many people walk blindly and willingly toward their doom, Jesus tells me these things:

I cannot walk your path, live your life or work out your faith for you. I can only tell you what I know, hope you will discover these things for yourself, and pray God's mercy on your soul because, Brothers and Sisters, you are SO going to need it for what is just around the corner!

But as for me, I know the way, know the truth and know what is coming next. I am well prepared and therefore not at all scared. It is my deep desire that you will be able to make that statement for yourselves. And sooner than later. Time is a luxury you simply have run out of.
