One of the most vivid memories I have of my mother when I was a little girl was Mom insisting I hold her hand wherever we went together.
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words."
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)
As Mom was dying I said,
"I suppose the next time I see you, you'll be zipping past me when Jesus Raptures us. But I'll meet you when I get there too."
She smiled and replied,
"It's not going to happen that way, Little Girl.
I'm going to grab your hand on the way up to Jesus."
(Forty-six years later and she STILL knew how to explain things to me in a way that made me feel better.)
How long will it be between the "Dead in Christ" rising and those of us still alive following?
I'm assuming LESS than the "Twinkling of an Eye".
I hope (and pray) you will choose to Follow Jesus and I'll meet you up there.

"in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed."
(1 Corinthians 15:52)
