Included is a nineteen minute video of our former Prime Minister, Pierre Elliott Trudeau, in his address to the nation to explain why the Federal Government enacted the  WAR MEASURES ACT (1970) in order to combat the terrorist organization the FLQ. 

It's fascinating as he talks about "freedoms" and the governments' role in our democratic, civilized society.

My "read"of his facial expressions and body language is that he is completely sincere, firm in his belief that he is doing the right thing for Canadians and deeply, deeply angry.

It should also prove fascinating to watch as "Papa Pierre's" little boy, Justin, descends on the Truckers in Ottawa. 

They have already amassed the military in Quebec (which I remind you is right NEXT to Ottawa.).

Pray that the take over isn't too bloody. This is the beginning of civil war in Canada.

It will continue (I predict, but the Bible doesn't come out and say) to soon include our indigenous peoples and take on gargantuan proportions (although more clandestine) as those who have been vaccinated "snitch" on those who haven't in order to have them "removed". These will be members of your own neighborhood and family. (THAT part IS in the Bible). Maybe you should take some time to read it, eh?! 🍁

CHRISTMAS IN June!

MY HEART AND MIND ON THE IMMINENT RETURN OF JESUS. THAT IS WHAT I AM WATCHING FOR THIS WEEK (again). I hope you are prepared and watching with me.

I've had another batch of "not feeling well" which manifest itself this time with fever and weakness. Unfortunately, both those things affected my ability to study the Bible. I have been sustaining myself each day with no more than a Psalm to think on a chapter or so and several sermons by others for which I am grateful. But today I was feeling better and strong enough to open up more than one Bible and really chow down on the Word of God, which felt really good to reset myself after having a fevered brain and too much YouTube.

I started with Luke 17, which is Jesus talking about these End Times but those few verses at the end of the chapter have always puzzled me. So I decided to lay aside my King Jimmie Bible and head for what was formerly Mom's New Living Translation. I was hoping too that Mom had left a few margin notes to guide me. No, she hadn't. But one thing that DID  drop out of her Bible was a little pocket card with a poem on it from 1984 ! I haven't read it in  years and years. It's a take on the "Night Before Christmas" classic, but I found it a bit depressing when I originally read it at Christmas back in the 80s. Therefore I have avoided reading it again until today when it fell into my lap, literally. Today I found it exciting. Even thrilling you might say and oh so very timely. I share it with you now.

Twas the Night Before Jesus Came

'Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house

Not a creature was praying, not one in the house.

Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care,

In hopes that Jesus would not come there.

The children were dressing to crawl into bed,

Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head.

And Mom in her rocker with baby in her lap

Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.

When out of the East there arose such a clatter,

I sprung to my feet to see what was the matter.

Away to the window I flew like a flash

Tore open the shutters and threw open the sash!

When what to my wondering eyes should appear

But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.

With a light like the sun sending forth bright ray

I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY!

The light of His face made me cover my head

It was Jesus returning just like He said.

And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth

I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.

In the Book of Life which He held in his hand

Was written the name of every saved man.

He spoke not a word as He searched for my name:

When He said, 'It's not here' my head hung in shame.

The people whose names had been written with love

He gathered to take to His Father above.

With those who were ready He rose without sound

While all the rest were left standing around.

I fell to my knees but it was too late;

I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate.

I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight;

Oh. If only I had been ready tonight!

In the words of this poem the meaning is clear;

The coming of Jesus is drawing near.

There's only one life and at the last call

We'll find the Bible was true after all!

'Where, Lord?' they asked.

He replied, 'Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.' "

Holocaust Comparable War Crimes in Canada

 Last night I was in a LIVE international meeting put on by the World Prayer Network on Facebook and they were discussing Israel and COVID-19 Vaccines, as is everybody.

They talked about Israelis being constantly tracked through cell phones, bracelets, and anklets, having their medical information shared without a person's consent, congregations closed, massive widespread lockdowns, and being forcibly quarantined in old hotels.

These things are happening in Israel and everyone was HORRIFIED and called them "WAR CRIMES" and said it was "worse than the Holocaust"! A lawsuit has been filed against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in the International Criminal Courts in The Hague (Europe) because according to the Nuremberg Declaration these are very clearly "Crimes Against Humanity". 

The problem is ALL of them are currently happening in CANADA too, but the outside world doesn't know that and most Canadians don't even realize how AWFUL this is. We seem to be just accepting it all with very little fuss. I believe in being polite too but this has left my jaw on the floor. I'm sharing and posting EVERY day for people to notice but not only being ignored but avoided. 

I LOVE CANADA and if she is going down I want to know I didn't surrender her without a fight.

Any suggestions? Does anyone else feel like I do?

Do I need to say it again? Okay.

You need to get a Bible and actually read it and pray in quiet and LISTEN to what God is telling you. I have been holding back the really bad stuff still to come. If you don't have a solid relationship with Jesus what is about to happen will trample you completely.

The odd thing about this debate in the  House of Commo is that the Conservative member is saying people "aren't safe" in these hotels and our Deputy Prime Minister is arguing that they will make "obligatory hotel stays" even stricter. They are arguing but their reasoning is all over the place when it comes to the topic as a civil liberties issue. It's utter madness! Keep in mind, these are the people with the POWER over us. Do you trust them with your life?

The first Bible verse I was forced to memorize. It made no sense to me at the time and was sung to the most annoying tune known to mankind. Which is probably why I remember it 45 years later!

Final Days Watch: week beginning March 8, 2021

This week is a shorter post, but oh so important!

It took me hours and HOURS of digging to discover this. Watching America start to implode in only a few weeks under Biden and the American people rise up against the evil "Equality Act",  I was wondering, 

"What is Canada up to law-wise regarding LGBTQ Agendas?" 

Prime Minister Trudeau is HUGELY Pro and Proactive LGBTQ and was WAY before we even elected him to lead us.

I found lots of hidden and covert laws already quietly passed and more to come which I won't get into here and now, but Bill C-6 is by far the worst. Evil at an almost unbelievable level but it has stalled (basically because it is so ridiculous and will destroy so much) and CAN STILL BE STOPPED!

If you are like me, you are tired of just "watching" and want to DO something but are feeling, alone, overwhelmed, and not sure where to start. Let me help.

I admit it felt good to make my voice heard and do something as simple as speak up for what I believe, my family (past and present), not deny Jesus, and refuse to shut up just because someone else tells me to.

And as we are watching this week, remember to watch for Jesus in the clouds and the sky.  Because of my disability and the need for a walker I am bent over looking down wherever I go. I realized that my physical position affects me emotionally too. The Bible is filled with references to people looking up and "setting their minds on things ABOVE". Even Jesus looked up when He prayed just before He called out, " Lazarus! Come forth!" (John 11)

So make a conscious effort to remember to look up this week as you watch for Jesus in your everyday life, your circumstances (however hard they may be), and in the sky, as we wait for Him to come and "snatch us up" so that "where I am you will also be." (John 14)

"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21)

When I was searching for the LGBTQ Wristwatch image I noticed the majority of them had the watches set for just after 10:00. I'm sure they have a reason for that. It is too prevalent to be merely random. But God has His own reasons and told me to go to Isaiah 10. Once again, it is "spookily" relevant in regards to the topic of this post.

"1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;

2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!

3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?" (Isaiah 10:1-3)

4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this, his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. (Isaiah 10:4)

No matter who we are or what we do, God's love is greater and more far-reaching. Even if that means being demonstrated in chastisement. Something to ponder.

Ezekiel 38 Israel Invasion

The invasion of Israel from Russia, Iran, Turkey and their allies for economic reasons as described in vivid detail in Ezekiel 38 is still at the top of the list. Everything is set up and just waiting for the "Go" command from God.

Rapture

Simultaneously, for Christians (defined as those who sincerely love and know Jesus) the next thing on God's agenda is the Rapture. (Woo-Hoo!)

And for the three cave-dwelling, Moravian non-Christians who have never heard of the Rapture it is simply this ...

The word is from a Latin translation of the Bible and means "to be caught up" or "to be snatched away". During these End Times Jesus has promised to LITERALLY snatch us away bodily to be with Him in heaven. It is described in many places in the Bible (see references below).

Hundreds of millions of Christians worldwide are waiting for this event to happen at any second of any day. That's what all those Left Behind books and movies are talking about. But since it is one of the few events of Bible Prophecy Jesus does not reveal the exact day for there remains some speculation as to when it will happen. Some believe it will happen before the seven year Tribulation (pre-Trib), some believe it happens somewhere in the middle of those seven years (mid-Trib) and some believe not until the end of it (post-Trib). But make no mistake, anyone who believes the Bible is true believes it WILL happen. If you know a Christian personally why don't you ask them if they think the Rapture is about to happen? See what they say. It should be interesting.

I personally have believed each of these time frames at different times but finally settled on the Rapture happening BEFORE the Tribulation as I continued to study the Bible through the years and the evidence for that view has continued to stack up. Each time I wake up I think, "I wonder if today Jesus will snatch me away?" And right before I fall asleep I think, "I wonder if I'll wake up to discover myself zipping through the sky heading for Jesus?" It certainly affects how a person lives out their daily lives and how they prioritize them. I will write a post specifically about the Rapture, but for now I simply put it at the top of my weekly "watch list".

Never fear. Jesus is near.

Instead of my regular post and because of the urgency of the times, this week I have foregone my usual written post and instead created a video to share my insights in the hope you could hear the intent of my heart. In particular, as it pertains to tomorrow's historic American election between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. And from the viewpoint of Bible Prophecy and Canada.

Final Days Watch: Week Beginning October 26

 

This one may surprise you considering these days of chaos and urgency we are living in. But next to watching for the imminent return of Jesus we should be watching out for ... ourselves.

I was looking into false prophets and false Christs and ended up viewing a documentary on Jim Jones and his almost 1,000 followers who took their own lives and the lives of their innocent children in 1978. It was the first time I had ever heard of someone claiming they were Jesus. (Unfortunately, it wasn't the last time I would hear of such a thing). I was wondering how intelligent people, many of them who had previously been church-goers and Bible readers, could be led to such extremes.

I think a major clue is found in the statement of one survivor. "At one point I was so tired and so lacking in sleep that I would have willingly fallen to my knees in front of Reverend Jones and given him anything if he would have just let me sleep."

Being overworked, with lack of sleep, isolated from loved ones, no free time, no quiet time, and not allowed to read the Bible on their own allowed Jim Jones to completely control them. And in most cases, they were not just physically controlled, but mentally and emotionally too. People watched their spouses and children being whipped and tortured and "disciplined" and thought it was the "right thing for them".

Jesus warns us in places in the Bible like Matthew 24 and Luke 21 that in these " last days" many will come proclaiming to be the Christ and will "deceive many". That's part of the reason I urge and encourage you each week to follow the fourth commandment and take a day of quiet and rest. When we lack sleep we simply cannot make good decisions and many times will distort the basic facts of a situation. When I am faced with any major decision I always "sleep on it" if at all possible. Haven't you ever faced what you think is a major problem that you can't think of a solution to at the end of a long and tiring day only to wake up the next morning and suddenly be able to see the answer so clearly?

Right now we are facing unprecedented times where our decisions are many, confusing, life-threatening, and daily. What a recipe for disaster! I believe God's goal with the fourth commandment (and ultimately all of them) is not to get extra attention and glory for Himself, but because He so deeply loves us and knows what is best for us. During these "final days" of life on earth with Jesus literally ready to come back for those who love Him at any moment, day or night, it can be a hugely stressful time to be living (to say the least).  But we simply CANNOT go into the fetal position, rock ourselves, and chant "Jesus is coming. Jesus is coming."

"Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it, thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." (Exodus 20:9-11)

We must make sure to:

Eat right.

Get plenty of rest and sleep.

MAKE the time to be completely alone and quiet. No TV, internet, music or people.

Do not completely isolate yourself either.

 You may need to make an extra effort if you live alone but you need more than emails, tweets, and text messages. You need to hear a human voice and interact with them. Pick up the phone, do a conference call, Skype someone, participate in a webinar, or Zoom meeting. But find a way where you are personally interacting with someone.

Find a wholesome, creative diversion. 

I don't mean just "vegging" in front of the TV. Do something you enjoy. 

Draw, color, or paint. Take up photography. Learn a new language or skill. Participate in an online course on a topic that interests you. Host a Zoom meeting to read a book out loud (the free version allows you up to 100 people for 40 minutes). Cook or bake something. Try wood carving. Jewelry making. Needle crafts (embroidery, crocheting, knitting, sewing). Write a song.

 The list is endless. As long as it's something you love to do and there is no pressure involved (ie. You aren't doing it to make money or have to get it done quickly).

And take time DAILY to get alone with God. Jesus did this too. And if He thought it was necessary to do it at His time and place I guarantee it is for us too. Allow the Holy Spirit to encourage you, boost you, and love you directly, and through His word the Bible. 

When you take the time to care for yourselves properly you will be able to weather any storm, will make good and sound decisions, and have nothing to fear no matter what comes your way. The stakes have never been higher but these times are not only fearsome but exciting too.

Who are the Countries in Ezekiel 38 Invasion?

 

Here comes the invasion of Israel described in Ezekiel 38. 

What you need to understand is that God is not going to let one prophetic event run it's course before another one starts. Many things are going to happen overlapping or simultaneously.

The best I can do is give you the basics and let you go and discover the truth for yourself. 

One of the major events of the Final Days, which is imminent, is the invasion of Israel by several countries. The Bible describes this invasion in extreme detail in Ezekiel 38. The main thing you need to know to unlock the contents of this invasion is the modern names of the countries mentioned, then it will  read like the lastest news.

EZEKIEL INFO:

"Gog" is not a country but rather the title for Governor or Ruler. Therefore the "Gog of Magog" means the ruler of  Magog.

COUNTRIES: Ezekiel Name/Modern Name

(These are the Countries to Watch for In the News)

Magog = Russia

Meshek =Russia/Turkey

Tubal = Russia/Turkey

Persia = Iran

Cush = Ethiopia

Put = Libya

Gomer = Turkey

Togarmah = Turkey

Ethiopia = Sudan

Libya = Libya

Sheba = Saudi Arabia

Dedan = Saudi Arabia

Merchants of Tarshish = Europe    

Those are the main invaders of Israel and players in this scenario. Because of civil unrest and extreme financial problems these countries unite to invade Israel primarily to take her wealth.

They will be motivated by God to do this. 

"I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army."

The other nations will watch but nobody will come to Israel's aid because God wants to use the opportunity to show that He and He alone is miraculously saving His people Israel.

We Are Launched

 

Several months ago when COVID-19 was a brand new thing and expected to be over in "a few weeks" I knew it wouldn't be and decided to create this blog in order for it to be a place of comfort primarily for Canadians. And so it sat here through these months as life moved on and times changed very rapidly. We have seen the "Black Lives Matter" movement descend and mass chaos in its wake, the escalating of international tensions, a world economy in turmoil beyond imagination, the closing down of the entire world as we "self-isolate" in our homes, and the historic signing of the "Abraham Accords". All these things signify the same thing. Bible Prophecy of the "Final Days" of planet Earth are being fulfilled at last.

 I began watching for these events in 1980 when I picked up my Bible and read the book of Revelation. Then I read another book which was a bestseller at the time called, "The Late, Great, Planet Earth" by Hal Lindsey. I have watched world events change throughout these four decades and never felt compelled to say anything because world events never matched the Bible Prophecies exactly. And since I believe that God knows all and the entire Bible is His revelation to mankind, if the events were "off" then the time was not yet right. Or should I say ripe.

  “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door." (Matthew 24:32-33)

In 1948, with Israel becoming a nation, all Christians who believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God from cover to cover, knew that this was the starting point for these events. Now the events in our world are unfolding exactly as the Bible stated thousands of years ago and are being fulfilled at a very fast rate. Not years apart, not even months apart but rather weeks and sometimes only days apart. 

I also noticed that although Canada is right next to the United States of America and enjoys a close relationship with her, we are very different people with a unique perspective and sensibilities. We are enduring things quite differently in both events and attitudes, but Bible Prophecy from a Canadian perspective seems to be almost completely ignored in the media and on the internet. With that in mind I went to pray and discovered that God had a task for me. To take the knowledge I have gleaned from the Bible and watching world events through all these years and simply share it with you. As a Christian and as a Canadian.

And so this little blog has taken on a much larger role than I had ever expected. But I am hoping that the main reason that I started it will continue to be its main goal, because I believe to bring comfort is one of God's main purposes in Bible prophecy in the first place. He has informed of us these events ahead of time so that we will not be frightened when they come.

His other purpose is to bring every person into an intimate relationship with Himself which can only be done through accepting the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross two thousand years ago. There is no greater comfort than that and no safer place.

I discovered Jesus was available to me for this intimate relationship back in 1978 and in my desperation I surrendered my life to Him and have never taken it back. And in response to this God has never left or forsaken me. 

 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6)

So it with this in mind and with a holy commission I have dedicated myself to daily listening to Jesus, to tell you what I know based on the Bible and to pray that you will find all the comfort you need to get you through the days ahead, no matter what they may bring.
