I've Gotcha, Little Girl

One of the most vivid memories I have of my mother when I was a little girl was Mom insisting I hold her hand wherever we went together.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.  After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.  Therefore encourage one another with these words."

(1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)

As Mom was dying I said,

"I suppose the next time I see you, you'll be zipping past me when Jesus Raptures us. But I'll meet you when I get there too."

She smiled and replied,

"It's not going to happen that way, Little Girl.

I'm going to grab your hand on the way up to Jesus."

(Forty-six years later and she STILL knew how to explain things to me in a way that made me feel better.)

How long will it be between the "Dead in Christ" rising and those of us still alive following?

I'm assuming LESS than the "Twinkling of an Eye".

I hope (and pray) you will choose to Follow Jesus and I'll meet you up there.

Criminal Profile of the Anti-Christ

Whenever somebody asks one of my fellow Watchman and Pre-Tribulation Rapture Believers how to identify the Anti-Christ they usually respond with something like,

“I'm not looking for the Anti-Christ I'm looking for JESUS Christ.”

Yeah. That's a really cute saying, however …

I find it kind of selfish. We won't be here to see the rise of the Anti-Christ so why bother helping others spot him? But there are going to be BILLIONS of people left behind who will definitely need to know how to identify him and since Jesus put these identifying marks in the Bible, wants us to be prepared and I am a criminal profiler, I thought we would look through the Bible and reveal the main ways to identify the Anti-Christ (aka. The Beast) once he shows up.

So here we go...

He will be

Fierce

A Master of Intrigue

Strong and Powerful

Successful

Destroyer of Rulers and God's People

Deceptive

Arrogant

“At the end of their rule, when their sin is at its height, a fierce king, a master of intrigue, will rise to power.  He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause a shocking amount of destruction and succeed in everything he does. He will destroy powerful leaders and devastate the holy people.  He will be a master of deception and will become arrogant; he will destroy many without warning. He will even take on the Prince of princes in battle, but he will be broken, though not by human power.”

(Daniel 8:23-25)

He makes a Seven-year Peace Treaty with Israel (according to the Jewish Lunar calendar of 360 days a year) to stabilize the World and helps them rebuild their Temple in order to start sacrifices again. But at the 3 1/2 year mark he will go into the Jewish Temple and declare himself as God. This is know in the Bible as "the Abomination that causes Desolation"

"So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains."

(Matthew 24:15-16)

The ruler will make a treaty with the people for a period of one set of seven, but after half this time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings. And as a climax to all his terrible deeds, he will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration, until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him.” (Daniel 9:27)

He doesn't just make himself out to be higher than the Most High God, but will set himself up higher than ALL gods and idols.

"He will have no respect for the gods of his ancestors, or for the god loved by women, or for any other god, for he will boast that he is greater than them all." (Daniel 11:37)

Receives a head wound that appears to be mortal and is "miraculously" healed.

(Note the word, "seemed". He's not actually mortally wounded it's just another of his masterful deceptions.)

I saw that one of the heads of the beast seemed wounded beyond recovery—but the fatal wound was healed! The whole world marveled at this miracle and gave allegiance to the beast.  They worshiped the dragon for giving the beast such power, and they also worshiped the beast. “Who is as great as the beast?” they exclaimed. “Who is able to fight against him?”

(Revelation 13:3-4)

Blasphemy against God, Heaven and those who dwell in Heaven.

He spoke terrible words of blasphemy against God, slandering his name and his dwelling—that is, those who dwell in heaven.

(Revelation 13:6)

He persecutes God's People and has them executed by decapitation.

He rules the entire Globe and will come from one of the countries where the Roman Empire used to be.

And the beast was allowed to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and language and nation.” (Revelation 13:7)

"I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years." (Revelation 20:4)

Everyone will worship the Anti-Christ and Satan who is possessing him and giving him power.

And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast.” (Revelation 13:8)

He has a religious flunky known as the False Prophet.

“Then I saw another beast come up out of the earth.”

(Revelation 13:11)

“He [The False Prophet] did astounding miracles, even making fire flash down to earth from the sky while everyone was watching.” (Revelation 13:13)

The False Prophet makes an image of the Anti-Christ that is alive and can speak.

He ordered the people to make a great statue of the first beast, who was fatally wounded and then came back to life. He was then permitted to give life to this statue so that it could speak. Then the statue of the beast commanded that anyone refusing to worship it must die.”

(Revelation 13:14b-15)

He will require everyone to get a mark (perhaps a chip) in order to buy and sell. It will have his name or number on this mark and it will be put on people's right hands or foreheads.

“He required everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. 17 And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name. “ (Revelation 13:16-17)

🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿

So the big question is, "Is the Anti-Christ amongst us now?"

My opinion is that since we are so deeply in the End Times, I'm sure he's here behind the scenes somewhere. Although he may not be possessed by Satan yet.

Also keep in mind the type of person who will inspire worship from people of all ages and from all cultural backgrounds. He will come speaking words of love and unity and will appear to have ALL the answers.

But before you get completely freaked out and discouraged, keep in mind this is all part of GOD’S PLAN. He is in complete control and He has revealed all these things to us so that we will not be deceived by the Anti-Christ.

If you follow Jesus, then you are on the winning side!

Now let me conclude by reminding you of Satan's ultimate eternal destiny.

"And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (Revelation 20:10)

Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by the splendor of his coming.”

(2 Thessalonians 2:8)

I have told you these things because Jesus wants you to know them.

So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded.” (1 Thessalonians 5:6)

" He who testifies to these things says, 'Yes, I am coming soon.'

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen."

(Revelation 22:20-21)

PPS. I find it wonderful that all the Bible verses are in the past tense even though they are events yet to happen.
Why?
Because when God says something will happen it is inevitable. A done deal!
("Praise you, Jesus. I long for your appearing.")

Mathematical Proof of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture

My  END  TIMES Chart  (Simplified)

When I was a teenager somebody gave me a jigsaw puzzle but they had lost the box and the pieces were just in a bag. I  did the 500 piece Puzzle anyway, but there were about 30 pieces I couldn't figure out. The lady found the box and once I saw the picture I was able to fit in the remaining pieces.

When I became a Born-Again Christian I was told that knowing Jesus personally would give me a life filled with kittens and rainbows. I had only lived twelve years but I knew Life didn't work that way. (I was right.) So when I was told Jesus would scoop up the Christians to go to Heaven before any of the seven year Tribulation happened, I didn't believe it. I spent thirty years believing the Rapture would happen at the Second Coming of Jesus to the Earth. However, there were several pieces of the Puzzle of Bible Prophecy that wouldn't fit into place. I suspected it was because I was somehow missing the big picture.

I had heard many Believers say why they believed in a Pre-Trib Rapture.

The Church is not present in Revelation after the fourth chapter,

THEREFORE we have been Raptured.

“For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.” ( 2 Thessalonians 2:7)

The HE refers to the Holy Spirit being taken away and He wouldn't leave without us. THEREFORE we have been Raptured.

And on and on the “evidence” goes but all of it involves an ASSUMPTION. A VERY dangerous thing when interpreting the Bible. I needed hardcore proof! So I did what I should have done DECADES sooner.

I asked Jesus for proof positive one way or the other.

His first response was to tell me to “Not be afraid”. The Holy Spirit revealed to me that I was afraid that the Pre-Tribulation Christians got it wrong, we would find ourselves living through the entire Tribulation and feared an “Oops. Sorry. I guess we got it wrong.”  would leave me  unprepared during the hardest days in human history. So I've spent the majority of my life preparing for some VERY harsh times.

But Jesus wanted me to put my Fears aside and dive into Bible Prophecy without my fears or belief biases. It didn’t take long. He led me directly to the book of Daniel and Revelation where there is a Timeline given of the Tribulation, by the Jewish, Lunar Calendar of 360 days a year.

3 ½ years until the “Abomination that causes Desolation” (the Anti-Christ enters the Jewish Temple and declares himself God)

then another 3 ½ years til Jesus's Second Coming to the Earth to set up HIS Millennial Kingdom. An accurate Timeline to the day.

BUT  if we know the DAY Jesus will return then why does He say, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. “ (Matthew 24:36)

AND

Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.” (Matthew 24:42)

Because … we are dealing with TWO SEPARATE EVENTS.

This was my hardcore evidence. My bigger picture, just like on the Puzzle box. From that point on all the Prophecy puzzle pieces fit into place. (And Bible Prophecy is almost ⅓ of the Bible and found throughout the Old and New Testaments.)

Since then I have spent the past 17 years reading Bible Prophecy and being able to determine whether to fit it into the Rapture  or the Second Coming.

But I wasn't completely off track when believing the End Times was going to be much, MUCH harder than had been spoken of, which we are ALL aware of now! So while people are freaking out and wondering why Jesus doesn't come for us, I am much more prepared because I've been expecting the worst.

Keeping that in mind, I might be able to be both Spiritual and Practical help to you. At least, I hope so.

Thank you for reading all of this and we will continue on this topic more in the future. For now, I will leave you to your own Bible Study and time talking to Jesus.
